I grew up in west Texas just north of Odessa on a cattle ranch. I moved to the Dallas Fort Worth area ten years ago and love the various communities and diverse cultures of the metroplex. I earned a master’s degree at Sul Ross in Apline, Texas and a bachelor’s degree at UT Permian Basin.

My most favorite job in the world is being a mother. My husband, Cliff, and I have three children. Sophie attends SMU studying economics, Trey attends Texas Tech studying Creative Media Industries, and Helen is a frehsmen at Nolan Catholic in Fort Worth. We have spent many years under Friday Night Lights, at dance competitions, or driving to horse shows. I very much enjoy spending time in the kitchen and gathering with my family. I am pationate about the education of children and dedicate myself to volunteering at schools.
